OUR STORY
New Beginnings Youth Foundation (NBYF) is a leading non-profit organization founded in 2015 by a licensed psychotherapist, Lady Esther. NBYF was registered in 2017 as a 501(C)(3) in the USA and an NGO in Nigeria to Educate, Support, and Empower at-risk, vulnerable, and homeless youth in West Africa.
At NBYF, we utilize evidence-based practices and a cognitive behavioral approach to provide trauma-informed preventative, Community-Based, and Rehabilitative residential treatment programs for youth aged 8 to 18. Our programs are guided by our belief in each youth's inherent strength and resilience.
Today, the New Beginnings Youth Foundation continues its mission, adapting to the evolving needs of the youth it serves. With a commitment to cultivating resilience, fostering independence, and igniting hope, NBYF embodies the spirit of possibilities. Each day carries the potential for a new beginning, reminding young people that the future is bright and full of promise.

OUR FOUNDER
Lady Esther, MSW, LCSW, MBA
With three decades of experience in the field of Social Work and Psychology, Lady Esther is a beacon of hope and support for many. She holds a master's degree in social work from Arizona State University and an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and Project Management from Grand Canyon University.
As the founder and President of Excel Social Services, she has dedicated her career to providing intensive outpatient mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. Her expertise is recognized as she is a Certified Individual and Family Clinical Trauma Specialist through the Arizona Trauma Institute. Moreover, she has spent nearly two decades as an adjunct staff development trainer for various organizations, contributing her knowledge and skills to many others in the field.
Lady Esther's passion extends beyond her professional life; she is deeply committed to empowering vulnerable youth in West Africa. Her efforts through the NBYF (New Beginnings Youth Foundation) reflect her desire to equip young people with the tools they need to succeed and become productive members of society.
As a devoted Christian, a loving wife, and a proud mother of three adult children, she embodies the values of compassion and dedication. In addition to all her remarkable accomplishments, she is an aspiring published author with a mission to positively change young people's lives through her writing.
