Who We Are

OUR STORY

New Beginnings Youth Foundation (NBYF) is a leading non-profit organization founded in 2015 by a licensed psychotherapist, Lady Esther. NBYF was registered in 2017 as a 501(C)(3) in the USA and an NGO in Nigeria to Educate, Support, and Empower at-risk, vulnerable, and homeless youth in West Africa.

At NBYF, we utilize evidence-based practices and a cognitive behavioral approach to  provide trauma-informed preventative, Community-Based, and Rehabilitative residential treatment programs for youth aged 8 to 18. Our programs are guided by our belief in each youth's inherent strength and resilience.

Today, the New Beginnings Youth Foundation continues its mission, adapting to the evolving needs of the youth it serves. With a commitment to cultivating resilience, fostering independence, and igniting hope, NBYF embodies the spirit of possibilities. Each day carries the potential for a new beginning, reminding young people that the future is bright and full of promise.

Through the community's unwavering support, dedicated staff, and countless volunteers, the New Beginnings Youth Foundation stands as a beacon of hope, proving that with the right resources and encouragement, every young person can navigate the tumultuous waters of adolescence and emerge ready to embrace their dreams.
